PLEASE CONSERVE WATER!
The City of Forney is asking residents of Windmill Farms to VOLUNTARILY CONSERVE WATER, due to ongoing drought conditions. While our system is currently operating within specifications, Windmill Farms Districts encourage everyone to reduce water use to help prevent us from being forced to enact our own mandatory water restrictions in the future.
Outdoor Watering Restrictions
Please limit outdoor irrigation to two days per week, according to the following schedule:
Even-Numbered Addresses - Watering is permitted on Mondays and Thursdays
Odd-Numbered Addresses - Watering is permitted on Tuesdays and Fridays
No outdoor watering between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM
Other Conservation Tips
Shorten showers.
Turn off water while you brush your teeth or shave.
Run full loads in your dishwasher or washing machine.
Raise your mower blade to help protect your grass from the heat.
Check all spigots, faucets and sprinkler heads for leaks.
